  • Sound library –

    • Baseline sounds help serve as a reference for accurate diagnostics. The Sound Library may be customized to reflect any unique plant sounds. The Sound Library may be utilized as a training tool- i.e. apprenticeship programs.

  • Auto Gain –

    • Provides accurate levels of saturation. As sound levels increase, the MS 3000 will automatically re-adjust to insure maximum listening accuracy.

  • Dual Filter System –

    • The MS 3000 features a dual sound filtering system that allows for clear, crisp sound. As well as the ability to eliminate white noise.

  • Self-Calibrating –

    • Automatically calibrates to appropriate sound levels. This feature allows the MS 3000 to be ready for diagnostics within 5 seconds of turning the unit on. For the most frequent problem range, there is no re-calibration necessary when switching functions - i.e. compressed air leak search to electrical panel check.

  • Laser Pointer –

    • Pinpoints leak source. Too often, a compressed air leak is narrowed down to only a general area, and the maintenance professional doesn’t have the time to pinpoint and fix. The laser beam, combined with the saturation percentages, hones in on the leak source within fractions of an inch, allowing for timely repair of costly energy loss.

  • Exterior lighting –

    • Allows the user of the MS 3000 to illuminate dark areas, such as electrical panels and poorly lit spaces. No longer will the maintenance professional be forced to try and balance that small flashlight between the neck and shoulder. Practical solutions are what the MS 3000 is all about.

  • Dual Headphones –

    • Allows for training, confirmation, and verification. Diagnostics, no matter how sophisticated the equipment, will always have an element of subjectivity. The MS 3000, by allowing a second set of ears to be involved in diagnostic decision making, brings the subjectivity level to an absolute minimum.
