DST: Advancing the Use of Ultrasound
Discovery Sound Technology was founded by a group of people who share the belief that ultrasound has unlimited diagnostic potential. Frustrated by the limited options in ultrasound tools that were available for our use, we set out to design a multi-functional tool that could be used by just about anyone, simply and accurately. Our ultimate goal: to give ultrasound its place alongside vibration analysis and infrared thermography as a standard maintenance tool, usable in all industries. We made sure our tool functions practically and efficiently, so anyone can use it.
Expanding on our original idea, we developed the DST Assurance Program™ to help building owners and operators, maintenance staffs, and others with their efficiency goals. This service combines the power of the MS3000 with our expertise and data driven support tools.

Credibility: we will never make claims that cannot be backed up by fact – our tool will perform consistently, as described – our reputation depends on it
Integrity: Our goal is to make ultrasound easy to use, not to sell attachments or upgrades. So we designed it to work with standard headphones and batteries. While we will keep working to improve the tool, newer models will never be designed with the intent to make the old ones obsolete.
